Chris Williamson (politician)
Christopher Williamson (born 16 September 1956)〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Who's Who )〕 is a British Labour Party politician, who was elected as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Derby North in 2010, but lost re-election in 2015.
He was a local councillor, representing the Normanton ward on Derby City Council until his resignation in 2011.
==Early LIfe==
Born in Derby, he attended the St John Fisher Primary School in Alvaston; Castle Donington High School, and St Thomas More High School, Allenton. He later attended the Leicester Polytechnic where he obtained a CQSW in 1985.
He worked as a mechanical engineering apprentice for a year from 1972 before working six years as a bricklayer. He was a social worker in Derby between 1983 and 1986 before working as a welfare rights officer.
